Terms of Service

Acceptance

By creating an account or using Recap, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Recap is a personal productivity tool that helps you log daily work entries and generate weekly reports. It is provided by The Stack Form. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with reasonable notice where possible.

Your account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years old to use Recap. One account per person — you may not share your account or create accounts on behalf of others without their consent.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use Recap for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Attempt to access another user's account or data without authorisation.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically extract data from the service.
• Introduce malware, excessive automated requests, or anything that degrades service for other users.

Subscription and payment

Recap is free to use with a standard plan. Recap Pro is available as a monthly subscription at the price shown on the Pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically each month. You can cancel at any time from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Payments are processed by Stripe. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.

Your content

You own your data. The work entries and reports you create in Recap belong to you. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to operate Recap on your behalf. We do not claim any ownership over your content and will not use it for any purpose beyond providing the service.

Intellectual property

Recap, its design, software, and branding are owned by The Stack Form. Nothing in these terms grants you a right to use our trademarks or reproduce the service.

Disclaimer of warranties

Recap is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost. Use the export and PDF features to keep local copies of anything important.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Stack Form will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, Recap. Our total liability for any claim related to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms or engage in conduct that harms other users or the service. Upon termination, your data will be deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or via a notice inside Recap at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
